Summary:
The Sierra 1500 Classic Hybrid is built to utilize hybrid technology. It’s available as an Extended Cab in 2- and 4WD with a system that offers 120-volt AC power via four outlets, two in the cab and two in the cargo box. These outlets offer the capability of running power tools or functioning as a generator in a remote area.
Under the hood, the electric motor replaces the conventional starter and alternator components, resulting in a nearly invisible integration of the electric motor into the gasoline power train. Sophisticated electronic controls boost fuel economy by 2 MPG city without a loss in power.
